Paul Hewitt MSc, BSc (Hons)
Paul Hewitt, MSc BSc has 15 years' experience in communications roles, including five in communications management. Paul trained as a journalist in 1993, and has worked in several writing roles, including freelance and national newspaper journalist, and Senior Copywriter for a Business to Business PR agency. In 2002 Paul moved into Communications Management, and began to develop a specialism in employee communications when he took up his first Internal Communications management role in 2002 and then subsequently researched and published a paper on the impact of email on internal communication, as part of his MSc (achieved with Distinction).
Paul has developed communication strategies and tactics for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service, Norwich Union, Centrica, Shell and Turnstone Support, among others.
Paul is also a freestyle jetskier, and came 3rd in the last round of the 2008 British Jetski Championships at Milton Keynes.

Karen Hewitt, MBA (Marketing), DipM, BSc (Hons)
Karen Hewitt holds a BSc Hons in European Management Science, an MBA (achieved with Distinction), and the postgraduate diploma of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. She is fluent in four languages (English, French, German and Spanish), and is learning Portuguese. Karen has 15 years' experience in Sales, Marketing and Strategic Management. Her marketing work has been published; she has lectured in Strategic Management, and was latterly Marketing Director for Gael Ltd, an award-winning Scottish software company.
During her time at Gael, Karen was instrumental in finding international markets for the company's MindGenius software. Prior to joining Gael, Karen gained unique strategy experience in Venezuela, spending two years working with the national shipping line and assisting clients in the oil and gas sector.
In her spare time, Karen has been learning to fly the trapeze. She is also a keen dancer, and in 2000 was the UK Merengue champion.
