How we work

Having recommended and scoped a plan of strategic marketing activity, Ogam typically delivers that plan over an agreed timeframe as part of a retained arrangement with the client.

This close, longer term relationship allows Ogam to become extremely knowledgeable about the client's business, increasing the impact of the work delivered. It also allows the client to budget marketing costs throughout the year, as well as to quickly access "plug in plug out" senior level marketing expertise, without time lag or incurring recruitment costs.

Knowledge transfer

What is not typical of most marketing agencies, is that Ogam is willing, and in fact actively encourages, the transfer of knowledge from its consultants to identified in-house staff, meaning both parties can work towards an agreed contract end date, reducing the client's reliance on consultants over the longer term.

Whilst we aim to leave the client self-sufficient at the end of our contract period, a number of clients retain our services beyond the initial contract, preferring to outsource their marketing activity on a more long-term basis and enjoying the value we provide.

One stop shop

In addition, we offer a broad spectrum of marketing activities, project-managing everything from start to finish and offering a "one-stop shop" for all your marketing needs, an arrangement which ultimately saves you time and money.

Tailored marketing support packages

Having delivered a strategic marketing plan, Ogam agrees the resource and time period estimated to deliver the plan, and the average weekly resource commitment required is reflected in the monthly fee. Ogam supports clients for 1, 2 or 3 days per week, in the form of three tailored packages:

  1. SLOW AND STEADY: 5 days per month
  2. GIVE IT SOME GAS: 10 days per month
  3. PUMP UP THE VOLUME: 15 days per month*

The cost reflects the speed at which the client wishes to achieve their marketing objectives, rather than the quality or output, taking into account the level of ambition and the time commitment the client is able to offer, as well as the available monthly budget.
